Risk Disclosure Notice

Statutory Warning • Applicable Year: 2026

CRITICAL NOTICE: Trading digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and derivative contracts involves exceptional market volatility and substantial risk of capital loss. You should never commit funds that you cannot afford to lose in their entirety.

1. Purpose of This Disclosure

This Risk Disclosure is provided by Kelvin Fundholm (“Company”, “we”, “us”) to inform prospective and active users of the substantial financial, technological, and regulatory hazards associated with algorithmic cryptocurrency trading and automated execution strategies.

This document does not explain every conceivable risk or how each factor relates specifically to your personal circumstances. You must evaluate whether trading digital assets is appropriate for you in light of your financial condition and risk tolerance.

2. Market Volatility and Price Discontinuity

Digital currency markets operate continuously (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) across multiple international exchanges without centralized circuit breakers. Consequently, digital asset valuations are subject to extreme, sudden fluctuations driven by:

  • Macroeconomic shifts, regulatory statements, and monetary policy changes;
  • Liquidity shifts across decentralized pools and centralized order books;
  • Sudden order imbalances producing catastrophic slippage and gap risks where stop-loss orders fail to fill at anticipated prices;
  • Forking events, network reorganizations, and sudden asset delistings.

3. Algorithmic and Machine-Learning Risks

Kelvin Fundholm provides computational algorithms, automated quantitative bots, and predictive machine-learning indicators. You expressly understand that:

  • Model Drift and Anomalies: Quantitative models are formulated upon historical price patterns, volume regimes, and volatility distributions. Unprecedented market conditions can cause algorithmic models to generate continuous losing trades.
  • Overfitting vs. Execution: Simulated backtested outcomes do not reflect the operational impact of live exchange slippage, order routing delays, or adverse execution queues.
  • Execution Autonomy: Automated bots execute commands at machine speeds. In volatile conditions, a poorly configured bot can deplete significant trading margin in seconds before manual intervention is possible.

4. High Leverage and Margin Liquidation

Trading perpetual swaps, futures, or margin instruments through automated bots magnifies both potential profits and potential losses. A marginal counter-trend move can trigger rapid margin calls and complete liquidation of your deposited collateral.

Leverage operates as a double-edged sword. You remain fully and exclusively responsible for setting stop-loss parameters, maximum drawdown caps, and leverage multiples suitable for your capital preservation requirements.

5. Technical, Network, and Infrastructure Hazards

Algorithmic execution depends entirely upon complex software, hardware, and telecommunication networks. Known technological risks include:

  • API Latency and Throttling: Integrated cryptocurrency exchanges may throttle, suspend, or encounter errors on their API endpoints, preventing bots from placing or canceling orders.
  • Cloud and Server Interruptions: Upstream internet service provider outages, hardware failures, and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) incidents can interrupt algorithmic execution without notice.
  • Cybersecurity and Key Exposure: Compromise of your device, local environment, or exchange API credentials could lead to unauthorized trading actions. Kelvin Fundholm recommends using strictly read/trade API keys without withdrawal authorization.

6. Regulatory and Counterparty Counter-Risk

The regulatory ecosystem governing digital assets remains dynamic and continually evolving internationally and across Canadian provinces. Future legislative changes, tax modifications, or exchange licensing mandates could adversely affect the usability, legality, or liquidity of specific crypto assets.

Furthermore, Kelvin Fundholm does not hold custody of your assets. Your funds reside on third-party exchanges. If your connected exchange suffers insolvency, fraud, bankruptcy, or state intervention, Kelvin Fundholm cannot restore or reimburse your assets.

7. Absence of Investment Advice and Acknowledgment

No content, tool, indicator, or automated signal provided by Kelvin Fundholm constitutes personal investment advice, financial planning, or an endorsement of any digital asset. You are strongly advised to seek independent counsel from certified legal, tax, and financial professionals prior to deploying capital.

By engaging with the Platform, you acknowledge that you have carefully reviewed this Risk Disclosure, understand the catastrophic loss possibilities inherent in digital asset speculation, and choose to proceed entirely at your own risk.
